Behavioral – Interpreter Design Pattern

Interpreter pattern is a behavioral design pattern that used to define a grammatical representation for a language and provides an interpreter to deal with the grammar. This is used in SQL passing, symbol processing engine etc.
Let’s see an example of interpreter design pattern.

“Expression” is the interface to check the interpreter. For that there is a method called “interpreter()” with the return type of Boolean.

The class “ConsoleExpression” is the class that is implemented by the “Expression” interface to check whether the data you input is same as the interpreter data.

Here you can see two class implemented by the “Expression” class. “OrExpression” class is to returns the “Or” condition of the data is same as the interpreter data. “AndExpression” class is to returns the “And” condition of the data is same as the interpreter data. Let’s see the main class.

From the data you input by creating the objects will check by the interpreter and will return true or false in the output.
